Healthy Recipes Using Flaxseed Oil

Healthy Oil – Protein Mix

Combine:
8 parts yogurt or cottage cheese, 2 parts flaxseed oil. Raw honey to taste. Mix well.

Eat as it is or store in the fridge and use in other dishes.

Breakfast

Add the oil – protein mix to:

  1. Fresh fruit, with chopped nuts and seeds as varieties.
  2. Cooked organic rolled oats.

Lunch and Dinner

Add the oil – protein mix to:

  1. A freshly chopped salad with spring onions, parsley, capsicum, vegetables, and herb seasoning (optional).
  2. Baked or boiled potatoes.

Salad Dressing

Blend together:

  • 1/2 cup of Flaxseed Oil.
  • 1/2 cup of homemade Sesame Oil.
  • 1 organic egg yoke.
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice or NewLife Apple Cider Vinegar.
  • Pinch of mustard, cayenne, or pepper.

Butter – Oil Spread

Gently warm butter till it is soft and just beginning to melt. Mix with Flaxseed Oil in proportions from 1:1 to 3:1, as desired.

Refrigerate.

  • Into mashed potatoes
  • In shakes
  • Spirulina
  • and other protein drinks

CAUTION: Never heat Flaxseed Oil, as the vital Omega 3 is very quickly destroyed, producing an oxidizing, rancid product which is harmful.
