Train Up a Child The Way He Should Eat

In the past, I had not been wise and had carelessly put my elder son in grave danger while he was still in my womb. Because I couldn’t cook, I took Bak Kut Teh daily for lunch, with my daughter, Bridget, then 4 years old.

Like most mothers, I fed my children cereal when they were 4 months old and porridge when they turned 6 months old. Cakes, pastries and donuts were common for breakfast and weekly visits to the fast-food restaurants were their rewards, without counting the numerous parties they attended.

Lunches and dinners consisted of white rice, soup, fried chicken, fried fish, pork, turkey drumsticks and stir-fried vegetables.

Sweets and chocolates were often given as rewards.

Monthly trips to the pediatrician were common too. As parents, we had sleepless nights when our children had fever, coughs and colds.

After 4 miscarriages, my husband and I journeyed to find the answer for better health. With much counseling and prayers. I changed my diet and lifestyle. Then I conceived David when I was 37 years old. I was on organic fruits and juices for snacks whenever I felt hungry. My gynaecologist was amazed that I did not need to be hospitalized before the birth, unlike my pregnancy with the two older children. I was completely healthy.

David was on mother’s milk until he was 11 ½ months old. His first solid food was a banana and later an apple when he was 6 months old. He ate his first porridge when he was a year old. He was so healthy that he was not adversely affected when he contracted chickenpox at 2 ½ months old, while a friend’s 3 ½ months old baby was admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Since the age of 1, David has not seen a doctor for flu, cough or fever.

In the year 2000, our family decided to seriously commit to a healthier lifestyle. From then on, we have juices, fruits and homemade yoghurt for breakfast. Brown rice with steam vegetables. Hippocrates soup and raw vegetables are our main meals.

Once a week, we have steamed fish or roasted chicken for dinner. We roast our chicken in the NewLife™ Breadmaker! We also have homemade organic noodles, made using the Alpha Juicer.

We save time on cooking because we eat RAW vegetables now. We also save money on cooking oil, gas, salt, sugar and sauces.

We would use Nutritional Yeast if the children wanted some “salty” taste. Dishwashing becomes easier since there are hardly any greasy utensils.

We also began doing daily exercise, which is much easier to achieve with the help of a Rebounder. It strengthens our bodies, bones and lymphatic nodes. We also removed all household cleaning agents that were poisonous and replaced them with NewLife™ products.

The bottom line is—we are healthier and happier. David is now 8 years old, loves yoghurt with Flaxseed oil, raw honey and Bee Pollen and his usual Spirulina drink.

Sometimes he asks for bread, usually homemade wholemeal bread, made using NewLife™’s Breadmaker.

If my children do not feel well, they take Immuflora, Vit. C Complex or Vit. C (500 mg), Propolplus, Garlic & Parsley and Zinger Tea. One time, David contracted Hand Foot & Mouth disease (HFM), so we put him through the Detoxification & Rejuvenation Programme and supplements and cleaned most household items with H2O2. He got well in a very short time without any problems.

I had done an experiment among the children that came under my care when I ran a home-based child care. I realized when I used distilled water to cook, the children were healthier. I would cook brown rice, hill rice (porridge), steamed fish, and kampong chicken with potatoes for the toddlers. I also advised parents to convert milk to yoghurt for their little children. I received numerous, thrilling, positive progress reports from parents.

It is important to train up a child in the way he should eat. It was wonderful to hear from David’s preschool teacher, Jenny Mah, that she was amazed that David, at his tender age, was able to share his health knowledge with her and with his classmates.

We would like everyone to be equipped with sound knowledge and be able to raise up healthy children, for they will be leaders of tomorrow. We want to see not only smart leaders of tomorrow but also healthier leaders. Let us join forces to fulfill NewLife™’s mission statement and leave a legacy for the next generation and the generations to come.

Let food be your medicine, and remember, our body is wonderfully made by God. When given the right choice, our body is able to repair, rejuvenate and heal itself. So train your children as early as possible, limit junk food and bad snacking habits if you can’t exclude them 100%.

Lastly, pray with your children, hug them, kiss them, and give them praise.

To God be the Glory!

About NewLife Today (formerly NewLife@AmpangPark)
At some period in our lives, most of us have wished for better health for ourselves and for those we know and love. Some way to regain the vitality we have lost.
We want a safe and effective method to combat illness. A way to repair our bodies instead of just treating the symptoms with drugs.
We are sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Wishing to start all over again. Go back to the way we once were physically, at an age before "modern living" lifestyles and bad habits took their toll. Can it happen?
Maybe having someone to show us the how to honestly fight and win the battle against diseases like cancer and heart attack. To defuse the ticking time bombs of high blood pressure, failing kidneys and tired livers. Is there a fighting chance?
At NewLife, we have seen these wishes come true over and over again, it would be irresponsible and unkind not to help, not to share what we know.
Backed by real life testimonies from people who have benefited, we hope you will find, together with us, the way to make your health wishes come true.
Wishing you the pink of health, contact us for free health consultation.
