Acacia Catechu Extract is a fine brown powder derived from heartwood (wood with bark) of Acacia catechu, a member of Leguminoseae family. The constituents of the heartwood are catechin and epicatechin. Bark of cutch tree is astringent, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-cancer, and anti cardiovascular in nature and catechins have significant antioxidant and antimicrobial effects.
