Constipation 7 Months Old
Case Study
Recorded by a mother, Mrs. Lee Hong Choo
Subject: James Lee Ming Jie
Age : 26 months
Age when the problem of Constipation Started – 7 months old
Case History
At the age of seven months, James started to develop constipation problems, where he moved his bowels only every four to five days. His stools were as hard as stones. I consulted my friends and most of them said it was normal for children consuming cow’s milk to develop constipation. However, as a mother, I could not accept this as the ‘norm’ for James to be constipated simply because he was consuming cow’s milk.
Remedial Actions
I consulted with Dr. Lynn Tan and she advised me to change the daily diet of James as below. By this time, I knew Dr. Lynn Tan because she helped me when I was suffering from gallstones and I underwent her ‘Detoxification/Rejuvenation Program’ along with the ‘Gallstone Flushing’ procedure for their removal.
James’s new daily diet:
- 9.00-9.30A.M. : Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) + Honey with Distilled Water in bottle
- 10.00-11.30A.M. : Fruit
- 11.00-11.30A.M. : Goat’s Milk Yogurt + Flaxseed Oil
- 12.00 noon :
- Brown Rice Porridge/Brown Rice + a choice of Potatoes
- Sweet Potatoes, or Pumpkin.
- When serving, add Raw Carrots.
- Hourly :
- a) Carrot Juice + Apple Juice.
- b) Spirulina Drink.
- c) ACV Drink.
- 5.00P.M. : Same as Lunch
- Drinks : Same as “Hourly”
- Last drink before going to bed:
- a) Goat’s Milk Yogurt + Flaxseed Oil.
- b) Immuflora – 1 Sachet
The results were a dramatic improvement in James’s ability to move his bowels. He now has daily bowel movements. Some additional benefits derived from the change in his diet are that he is much healthier and hardly ever gets coughs or colds. His body resistance to germs has improved tremendously.
On rare occasions (only twice in the last 12 months), when James caught a cold, I would give him ‘Propol-plus’ every hour. By midafternoon, he would be back to normal jumping around again. In the last year, James has not consulted a doctor for coughs, colds, or a running nose. I expect that by maintaining a healthy diet this will be the norm for James.
My Personal Observation
From my own experience, I conclude that healthy living can only be achieved by following a healthy diet, preferably at an early age. My youngest son James is a good case in point and I strongly believe that children should take goat’s milk instead of cow’s milk, together with spirulina, which is a wholesome food.
My greatest regret is that when my second son Jonathan was having the same constipation problems (about 9 ½ years ago), I had not yet met Dr. Lynn Tan, and thus, could not draw upon her expertise.
However, I am making amends by encouraging my family to develop a healthy lifestyle by consuming healthy foods (like brown unpolished rice, ACV, yogurt, K-Salt, fresh fruit juices, and raw vegetables). This is also complemented with taking food like Spirulina.
Thank you, Dr. Lynn Tan. May you have a long and healthy life to help more people. God bless you and your family.
